What year was your business established and give a brief history?
The Schooner Restaurant opened originally in 1947, and burned down in 1959. The Megas rebuilt the restaurant in 1960 and are now celebrating 71 years with GREAT support from the local community.

What type of merchandise/service is sold here?
Fresh local seafood and steaks, homemade gumbo, sauces, and salad dressings.

What is your personal secret to success?
Providing freshly made food, good service and treating our customers like friends over for dinner. 71 years of service entails a great level of commitment that my parents, Antonia & Constantine, exemplify daily. It is a credit to their hard work and sacrifice that we are still here and thriving! We could not accomplish this without the wonderful support of our community! – Steve Megas
