It was a full house last night at the 2018 NISD Meet the Candidates Forum hosted by the Nederland Chamber. After an informational look at the four candidates, their views and their hopes for the future of our school district and our students, it is clear that Nederland is going to land a great school board. Thank you to our mediator, Angel San Juan, and our gracious host, FUMC in Nederland and to all the citizens who attended and the candidates as well. ??
PLEASE, GET OUT AND VOTE! Early voting begins April 23rd. Election Day is May 5. See you at the polls!
We would like to thank so many of our members for participating in our spring BizConnect, Getting Social With Your Media. It was a packed house with over 35 in attendance. A big thank you to Amber Ambrose for lending us her expertise on social media marketing and to MCT Credit Union for providing a tasty Raos Bakery Mid County breakfast! Please send us your ideas for future BizConnect topics.
